NSF-JRA Meeting #5
at IUT di Corsica, Corte (France)

The fifth meeting took place at the Institut Universitaire Technologique de Corse. C. Storai and P.-R. Gonsolin hosted very well this meeting located in a place favorable to brainstorming.

The third year of the contract had started. The spendings and developments had been slow at some facilities during the first two years and participants had have a careful look at the project implementation plan. Participants all agreed that some developments should speed up at some places and some knowledge recently produced or acquired by a few partners was disseminated (e.g. see the detailed presentation of the SEOP techniques by E. Babcock (P1). The minutes and copies of the viewgraphs are available below in PDF format.

Another important issue of the meeting was the FP7 project. Indeed, it was already time to prepare the next proposal. After a brief introduction by the coordinator, attendees have agreed that the NSF-JRA should be continued and have prepared a detailed list of tasks they would like to develop together. E. Lelièvre-Berna has also explained the reasons for which he did not want to continue to coordinate the JRA and proposed that K. Andersen, his colleague at ILL, be the next coordinator in case the NSF-JRA project continues in FP7.
